My name is Grace, I am a 27 year old woman from Michigan now living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2020 only at the age of 22 and had to have a double mastectomy done in February of 2021. I also had an additional surgery at the end of 2021 to remove more cancer from the breast as the initial procedure did not treat the cancer completely due to a nipple sparing mastectomy.
I was in remission after the final surgery and lived a pretty normal life for about 4 years. This past fall I started feeling very sick all the time, I could tell my body was trying to tell me something. I could no longer ignore it or take it anymore and got a check up after the Holidays were done. My blood work came back not good, I was told there was something going on with my liver. Doctors ordered at stat CT scan of my abdominal area, which showed lots of lesions (tumors) in my liver, spine, pelvis, and ribs. That same day I was given the hardest news of my life. “Your cancer has came back, more agressive this time”. January 5th, 2026 I was sent to the hospital and endured and rough 4 days of pain, agony, fear, test, and trauma. I have a long road of recovery ahead of me for the rest of my life, and work will be impossible as of now as I am on chemotherapy and have lots of doctors appointments. I am looking to raise as much donations as possible to help support me during these hard times as my access to making a living for now will be on pause until I can reach remission. I am hoping to hit the full goal of $45,000 before closing this fundraiser. Anything helps on this journey of mine, and I am so grateful and appreciative to everyone who has supported me in the past and now. This fight would not be possible without each and every one of you! So please share, tell a friend, family, if possible donate. Thank you!
