My name is Grace, I’m 19 turning 20 on the 20th of this month, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a series of tough challenges.
In June of 2025, my mom kicked me out after an argument, and I realized I needed a healthier environment overall. Since then, I’ve been barely getting by thanks to this economy, couch surfing, trying to save, and just doing my best to stay afloat.
Things became even more difficult when I got into a car accident on January 23rd. My car was completely totaled in the accident. Now, I can’t afford an insurance policy down payment to get a new car, which means I have no way to get to work or earn money.
To make matters worse, the property where I’ve been staying and where most of my money went towards isn’t going to work and is being bought by the bank, so I need to find a new place to live very soon. Transportation is absolutely crucial for me to continue living independently, find work, and secure a stable future. Without it, I’m stuck and unable to move forward.
