Gracelynn’s story:

On Wednesday November 15th, Gracelynn’s Mom, Kaprice, went into early labor at just 23 weeks and 3 days. Thankfully at the time she was staying near the hospital with her mother-in-law, Terrylyn. As a former OB nurse, Terrylyn recognized signs of active labor and immediately rushed Kaprice to the hospital, calling ahead to notify them of the situation. Kaprice was brought in for an ultrasound revealing that she was fully dilated, and the baby was breech. Kaprice was immediately rushed in for an emergency c-section and put under general anesthesia causing her and her husband to miss the birth of their first baby.

At 9:45pm Gracelynn Rose Bradbury was born weighing just 1lb 3oz. Because she was born so early, she is considered a micro preemie. She is at high risk for brain bleeds and is under constant observation in the NICU. Gracelynn's lungs are not fully developed, so she is intubated and breaths with the help of a ventilator. She currently has bilateral chest tubes due to pneumothorax and is spending her days under special lights receiving phototherapy due to high

bilirubin levels. Gracelynn and her parents Kaprice and Miles have a long road ahead as Gracelynn is not expected to leave the NICU before her due date of March 10th, 2024.

This Go Fund Me has been created by family to help alleviate the challenges of medical bills, travel expenses, lost wages and any other issues that may arise during Gracelynn's NICU stay. Please help Miles and Kaprice by donating. Whatever you are able to give is greatly appreciated!
