My name is Alissa and I’m Kinslee's Bonus Mom. Kinslee’s mom, Melissa DeBerry, is in need of help.

Here is her story:

Melissa is a faithful woman of God with a heart of gold. She is the first person to always reach out to help others through kind words, prayer, a shoulder to cry on, or a listening ear. She is selfless without hesitation.

Recently, before Christmas, work circumstances lead to losing their family medical insurance. She was healthy and prayed the insurance would be reinstated before they would need it.

The day before Easter she reluctantly presented to the E.R. with abdominal pain and vomiting. Unfortunately, the news was not good. It was her appendix and it would need to be removed immediately with surgery, and now complications have extended her stay.

Melissa pulled through surgery with the help of skilled hands and an outpouring of prayers. The road ahead will financially be difficult since she currently has no medical insurance.
