GRACE and FAMILY MEDICAL FUND
Donation protected
I have a very good friend Grace Oyama McFadden.
Her family has been through so much in such a short time and i am hoping that we can help lesson the burden.
Grace met her husband Mark in Vancouver in the restaruant business and they eventually came back to the Mississauga/Oakville area and opened up a fantastic eat in Fish n chip restaruant "ENGLISH BAY"
They had to move in with Grace's parents to help with bills and take care of them. They were doing well with English Bay so decided to open a 2nd Store.
After signing the lease Grace was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer , which put the opening on hold but not the bills.
Grace did treatment and it looked like she had beat the nasty disease. But now behind on bills she went full force back to work , not to mention still taking care of her parents and two young children.
In December Grace found a lump on her neck and was told its in the lymphnodes now and is terminal.
Grace and Family do not want to believe this is the case and she is forging through with treatment and taking care of her family. The stress that Grace has endured over her short life has definitely been a cause for this disease to return. For those that know Grace you would agree that she is just about one of the kindest people you know.
Before this was something so close to their lives Grace and Ava (daugher) had been donating their hair to various charities like cancer and fundraising through the restaruant for local soccer teams ect...
They never seem to ask for anything and now i am asking for them.
Grace had to stop working which meant the 2nd store closed and just this month they sold the 1st location English Bay on Maple Grove in Oakville.
I am asking for some help in easing the finincial burden in this beautiful families life.
