My name is Grace Anthony. I spent over 25 years as a contractor in the oil refineries & chemical plants working in Environmental, Health, & Safety and over 10 years at ABC Industrial Training Center teaching Core, Industrial Safety I & II, & more. I loved my career very much, I wish so much that I was well enough to go back to work, unfortunately that doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon. Many know me as Mom or Momma Grace, GiGi, or just plain Grace. My life's mantra has been to improved the quality of life for the people around me. Although, I fall short, as everyone does, every now and then, I have always done whatever I can to help others and asking for help myself is definitely one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do.

Years ago I set this up to help me cover the out of pocket expenses for my Stem Cell Transplant and although no one has donated to this page in over 4 years now, in the past several months I have struggled more than ever with the financial stresses that come with the

medical expenses from the leukemia, other severe health issues / diseases, complications, many recent hospital stays, blood/ platelets transfusions & surgeries. I am at a position now that I have no choice but to ask for help.

The money will help cover

the out of pocket & uncovered medical expenses, living & travel expenses not covered by insurance. I am having to travel for treatments unavailable in my home state some covered by insurance, some not.

I had the transplant in August of 2016 & I am not a candidate for another transplant even though things are very aggressive right now. If you are local to me, SETX, you can help for free by donating blood / platelets [if possible] at LifeShare by donating in my name.

I owe those who have helped in any way so much more than anything I could give. Because, when I started this journey I still had kids in school. Now, I have 11 grands (some by blood, others by love). I can't believe how blessed I have been by being given this extra time. I really, have no words.
