Grace has a combination of heart defects so rare her doctor does not have a statistic for her. One or two of her conditions would be treatable. There could be a plan. But for Grace each diagnosis has led to another problem in her tiny body. Her doctor's words were "There is no pathway to life for your baby." Now we wait. We wait for her to come on her own, or, if I show signs to mirroring her symptoms, they will induce labor. Either way, she will be born into heaven.

Grace's funeral is obviously not something we were planning for. Thankfully and generously, we learned that funeral homes donate the majority of their services when an infant passes. Not everything is covered though, and we would like to have an opportunity for all of our friends and family to join us in honoring Grace. If you would like to donate, her memorial service is where most of your money would go. Some would also likely go to our family's general expenses as time has to be taken away from work and I am unable to work. We don't need much but everything helps.

No parent expects to outlive their child. This child of ours will never live outside of my body, however she is loved beyond belief. Hundreds, if not thousands, of people have prayed for our little Grace. However, God's plan did not align with our wants this time. We continue to trust in Him though. He is giving us strength for what is ahead.
