Grace Transformation and Empowerment

Hello, my name is Jeaninah, and I am going to Uganda on a 3-month missionary trip starting May 1st. My purpose is to help the less fortunate community and spread the gospel of Jesus. I have been raised and taught by the Conestoga Valley Church of Christ to demonstrate God's love, mercy, and grace. The heart of Christ inspires me to bring life, hope, love, and servitude to the less fortunate. I want to transform lives just as Jesus taught in Matthew 25:34-40. This passage encourages us to show love and kindness to those in need by feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, inviting strangers into our homes, clothing the naked, caring for the sick and visiting those in prison. By doing so, we do it for Jesus himself. Even the most minor acts of kindness can significantly impact the lives of the less fortunate. As I work to better the communities I came from, let us keep this passage in our hearts and strive to show love and compassion to those we serve, just as Jesus would do. I am empowered by the Lord's teachings about His love and am eager to reach out to the communities in Uganda. God's love is infinite and does not depend on any conditions or qualifications. It extends to every person, even those who are marginalized and forgotten, helping them to achieve unity with God. Jesus explains in John 3:16-17 that God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son so that anyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God does not discriminate based on reputation or status but seeks to raise everyone to a higher standard of unity with Him. The work I will be doing in Uganda reveals the power of God's love, which has no last or first but seeks to make us one with Him. The Bible teaches us that even though we have faith that moves mountains, without love, we are nothing. Therefore, love is the fuel that pushes me to believe that the lives in Uganda can be changed when we come together as the Church of Christ.
