Grace Medical Fund 刘金鹏 医药费用基金

Grace came from Beijing to study in Texas 3 years ago. Her husband Jonathan started his own study a year later in the Chinese program at DTS, where I am about to graduate. With only 7 credits to graduate, Grace started having problem swallowing and it became very serious and she became so weak due to lack of food intake that she had to be hospitalized on May 20th in Ft. Worth. A large tumor was found in her esophagus and she was diagnosed with stage 2 Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Before she could gain weight (She was down to just over 60 lbs) and strength to begin cancer treatment, she started to struggle with breathing and ended up in ICU for 17 days. She had to be intubated and sedated, and eventually, a breathing tube was inserted in her throat to help her breathe. After some rehab she was able to breathe on her own and be on her feet. After 55 days in the hospital, Grace went home on July 13th to recuperate more, preparing for cancer treatment. In the early morning of July 23rd, Grace started to bleed uncontrollably and passed out. She was rushed to the hospital and passed away due to bleeding and suffocation. She is survived by her loving husband Jonathan, who has been by her side every single day, and their 7-year-old daughter. This gofundme is started to help with her enormous medical bill. 劉金鵬姊妹三年前從北京來德州求學。她的丈夫喻君強弟兄隨后也開始在我即將畢業的DTS的中文部學習。就在她即将毕业之际，因吞咽困難、不能進食至體力不支，金鵬於5月20日在Ft Worth入院治療，食道上端外側發現的腫瘤被確診為 鱗狀上皮細胞癌(也叫扁平細胞癌）。在通過各種方法努力增加體重(她瘦到了30公斤)和體能預備癌症治療期間，金鵬出現呼吸困難，被送進重症監護室17天，先用呼吸機再氣管切口插管幫助呼吸。通過復健鍛煉金鵬恢復了自主呼吸。在住院治療55天，病情穩定后，金鵬於7月13日出院回家休養，預備癌症的治療。7月23日一早，金鵬因突然出血不止被緊急送醫后不治，被主接回天家，留下從未離開她身邊一天的丈夫君強和7歲的女兒，以及巨額的醫療費用。請大家憑著各自的感動為這個家庭捐上愛心，以幫補Grace的醫療費用。謝謝大家的愛心！
