Grace Doncel Brain Injury Relief

On June 28 2021, Grace took a serious blow to the brain. This accident completely changed her life. They have a series of health issues which resulted in having an AV heart blockage at 29, fainting on concrete and out for 40 seconds nearly in cardiac arrest. Grace was unable to recognize herself for weeks with distorted vision, difficulty walking for a few minutes at a time, and having trouble retaining short/long term memory. 

Grace had her second emergency on December 1 2021. She was rushed to the ER by ambulance again. The emergency Neurologist on staff declared that she has a brain injury and that her brain essentially had a panic attack. She was incredibly sick with the worst migraine of her life. Unable to walk without assistance and having to be cared for without light. Having a high fever and low heart rate with a number of symptoms. Desperately wanting to feel better and wondering what’s next. 

Grace does not remember most of 2021. Now her daily life is living with a cognitive TBI and vertigo.

 Grace has physical therapy and doctors appointments weekly, and sees specialists (neurologist, cardiologist). She is headed on the path to be declared disabled with her lawyer. 

The multitude of medical issues has made this her full-time priority. Grace was unable to pursue a devoted decade long career they adore. She has been aggressively trying her best to stay afloat without the support of her family.
