With profound sadness, we share the heartbreaking loss of Grace Benyin, aged 36, a dedicated midwife, a loving mother, a cherished daughter in Ghanaian culture, a sister, and a mother to many.

Grace worked as a midwife at Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. She went missing in Clonmel on 19 November 2025. After 34 days of extensive searching, her remains were sadly found, bringing devastating news to her family, friends, colleagues, and the wider community.

Grace was a woman of deep compassion, strength, and selflessness. Through her work as a midwife, she brought life into the world and comforted countless families during their most precious and vulnerable moments. Beyond her profession, she lived out the values of her Ghanaian upbringing, caring not only for her own children but extending love, guidance, and support to many who knew her. To so many, she was more than a friend; she was a mother figure, a pillar of strength, and a source of encouragement.

She leaves behind her four beloved children (aged 5, 7, 9 & 15 years) her husband, and her extended family in Ghana. Her passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved and depended on her.

This GoFundMe has been created to help cover Grace’s funeral arrangements and to provide immediate support for the family she has left behind during this incredibly difficult time.
