Janae Osborn Branscum is a joyful sweet soul and shares her loving spirit wherever she goes. She and her best friend and devoted husband Matt spend their lives raising their two perfect little girls. She turned 29 on February 12th….two days before, on February 10th she received words that would stop anyone in their tracks… she was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma.

Janae is pure joy and has handled this diagnosis with total positivity.

Janae has had her first appointment with her oncologist, She really likes her. Along with her doctors, she has a path and a plan and was told that other patients have had incredible responses to immunotherapy. The information she, Matt and her entire family received was really hard to hear, but they left the doctor’s office with much hope and positive anticipation.

Those of us who love Janae are placing our faith and hope in the promises of the Lord. Janae has the best attitude of us all. She is tackling this with total positive points. Therefore, we will follow her lead.

Janae has enjoyed working in retail management and hopes to return to it when she grows better and stronger. Of course her first job is always being the tremendous mother she is, and now, concentrating on growing wellness with each new day. Matt will continue his career as a Bethany Police officer.
