On September 26, 2014 my mother, Sue, was diagnosed with breast cancer (DCIS to be exact). Not only was this a terrible diagnosis, but the burden of medical bills and procedures costs are starting to pile up and cause more unnecessary stress for the family. The results of her lumpectomy and lymph node removal show that the cancer is in her lymphs and has spread. We will find out next week if chemotherapy is needed.
