400km and 4000 EUR for Warchild!

You decide how far I go! For every 10 EUR I will walk 1 KM. The goal is to walk 400 km and raise 4000 EUR for Warchild. Please don't make me walk 1000 km ;)

I started Wednesday Walks just for fun!

Deliveroo's exit from the Dutch market forced me to set new goals. With a bit more time on my hands, I started walking. One day I wanted to get out and I just put on my - way too heavy - hiking boots and started walking...21 km. As sore muscles prevented me from doing it the next day again I continued the next Wednesday. And this is how my Wednesday Walks were born. They are a mini-adventure, clear my mind and allow me to enjoy the Dutch outdoors. Until now I have walked 150 km over the past 2 months. Now, I would like to take it a step further.

The more you donate, the further I walk. For every 10 EUR I will walk 1 KM. The goal is to walk 400 km before summer during my Wednesday Walks and raise 4000 EUR for Warchild. We live in a country where we are fortunate not to have severe natural disasters and kids can grow up safely. Warchild is one of the last organizations left in Syria that look after kids there after the devastating earthquake on top of a country torn apart by war. The kids there need all the money they can get.

Please don't make me walk 1000 km ;)
