It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Pavel (Pasha) Stepanovich Slobodenko, after a short but intense battle with cancer.

Pasha was a devoted father, a kind soul, and a bright presence in the lives of all who knew him. His greatest joy in life was his daughters, Angy and Liza, whom he loved with all his heart.

As we mourn this unimaginable loss, we are also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and burial costs, along with the long-term care and support of Angy and Liza. In honor of Pasha’s memory and the deep love he had for his children, we’ve created this GoFundMe to help carry some of that weight.

We humbly ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward funeral expenses and helping his daughters navigate life without their father’s care and guidance.

From His Daughter:

My beloved father passed away after a grueling and aggressive fight with cancer. He was kind, gentle, and full of love—honest to the core and selfless in everything he did. He lived for us, and even in his final moments, he was still thinking about how to take care of us.

He loved playing chess with me—even when I beat him, he played with joy and patience. He enjoyed deep conversations and had a special way of making people feel truly heard. He was wise, compassionate, and full of humor.
