Surgery For Cece

Hello everyone!

My name is Cece and I'm a 4 1/2 month old Maltipoo, who has recently been diagnosed with Ectopic Ureters. The Veterinarian explained that Ectopic Ureters is where the "Ureters" (aka tubes that drain urine from the kidney to the bladder) don't connect properly to the bladder, which causes urine to bypass the bladder and go straight to the urethra, where it slowly leaks out of my little body, and I can't control it. I'm just a dog, so all I know is it's very uncomfortable, and I hope to feel better soon...with your help of course!

My daddy is special and loves me very much, but the procedure to fix my Ectopic Ureters is very expensive; approximately $5,000 - $8,000. As a cute puppy, I don't carry a wallet, so I'm not exactly sure how much that is, but I think it is a lot. One of daddy's best friends found out how much the procedure could cost and wanted to help; unfortunately daddy's friend can't afford to pay the entire bill. Instead, his friend did some research (he's not very tech savvy) and created this Gofundme for me. I'm not sure how my daddy is going to react when he realizes his friend went against his wishes and created a Gofundme, but I think it's a great idea. If we raise enough money, then my daddy can get me that procedure at U.C. Davis, and I can continue to keep my daddy company (he's available ladies, but I got first dibs on the front seat). In all seriousness, if you made it this far, I want to say "thank you" for taking time out of your day to read my story.

P.S. Daddy's friend tried his best to transfer my thoughts to words, but his Maltipoo is a bit rusty, but he tried to capture an accurate account of the situation. Seriously, thank you everyone, even if you can't donate. Never setup a Gofundme before, so I'm not sure of the mechanics, but if there is a way to answer questions or provide clarification, I will gladly do so (provided I can figure it out).
