Denise Needs Our Help!

Hello Friends, After several very emotional & scary months it's time to up-date everyone on what's been happening. 3 months ago after an emergency trip to the ER for what Lyssa thought was Denise having a heart attack. They actually found out that she had a mengionoma ll brain tumor. It has taken a lot of pre-testing, several doctors appointments and numerous hours on the phone to finally get in with an incredible team and neurosurgeon at UCSF. The tumor is fairly common but, only 2-4% of people get it in this region of the brain. Dr. McDermott explained how he will make an incision from the top of one ear to the other, peel her face down, remove the frontal bone above her left eye and enter through the left side of her brain to remove the tumor. Surgery is scheduled for July 16 at UCSF. We are hoping and praying that everything goes smoothly and recovery will be uneventful. We are starting a go fund me account to help with the expenses and bills while Lyssa and Denise are getting through and recovering from this extremely difficult, and scary event.  We need to be there for them and help them through this difficult time!
