Zoë is 23 year old mother to a beautiful almost 3 year old daughter named Lily. ("Cucpcake.") She has worked in public education, in both student data and in the classroom, for most of her adult life. She has an FBI Fingerprint Clearance card to instruct minor children in the state of Arizona. Her legal record is clean, and her health is verified as great according to her primary care physician- apart from stress and anxiety associated with the current custody battle for her daughter. She is a very accomplished and hard working young woman, and no one matters to her more than her Cupcake.
She believes children need BOTH of their parents, and has continuously asked for joint custody between herself and her daughter's father. He has continuously asked for sole custody to be granted to him. Some of you who are very familiar with her story; know that there is a lot of backstory to their relationship, but neither she nor I are asking for any of that to be taken into consideration. As long as a child has two healthy parents who pose no risk to her and have never attempted to hurt her, those two parents should share her. Unfortunately her father has used her as a mechanism to hurt Zoë - by trying to take full custody, he is executing a type of revenge that simply has no place in parenting.
Lily needs both of her parents.
Zoë has spent over $13,000 so far in legal fees, and expects to spend at least that much again before this is over. Zoë reiterates that she does NOT want to take Lily away from her father, but that her father must be made to share Lily equally. Unfortunately, at 23, coming up with another $13,000 simply isn't possible- and Zoë is working two jobs trying to make it happen, with the necessity of a third job becoming apparent. Lily is worth every hour of this effort to Zoë, but she is asking for your help. Even raising $8,000 would be tremendously helpful, and would give Zoë a fair fighting chance to give Lily the life she deserves with both her father *and* her mother.
