My name is Maritza Cardenas, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin Angel Sanchez’ siblings and parents.

It’s so hard to even find the words, because we never imagined we’d have to say goodbye to Angel so soon. He wasn’t just my cousin, he was family in every sense of the word. Angel had the kind of smile that could brighten the darkest day and a heart that was always open to others. He loved being surrounded by family, and no matter what, he found a way to make people laugh and feel loved.

Losing him has left such a deep emptiness in our family, and while nothing can take away this pain, we want to give Angel the beautiful farewell he deserves. We are asking for help with funeral expenses to ease the heavy burden on his parents and siblings during this heartbreaking time.
