Support Quentin's Fight Against Cancer

It’s is with great sadness that I share this update: Quentin has gone to heaven on Friday, October 31. Quentin fought long and hard and his parents went to the ends of the earth to try and help find the ultimate cure, but God had other plans. We are all so incredibly heart broken, but are finding peace in knowing that Quentin had a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. We want to extend our most sincere gratitude for all of the support and prayers along this journey. Thank you all so very much for your kindness. Please continue to pray for the family as they grieve this tremendous loss. ❤️

Update: Quentin is still in this marathon that we call cancer! There have been valleys and mountains to climb, but there have been so mny miracles along the way! This summer has been quite a battle and Quentin continues to prove that he is a warrior and is not finished yet! A "finish line" is nearing by way of a trip to Children's hospital of Philadelphia for CAR-T cell therapy! We know that this is another step in Quentin's healing and we are thankful for this. Of course, it does not come without cost. Flights, food, lodging, other expenses will add up over the 5-6 weeks he will need to be there. We are so thankful for all of your generosity and, of course, for all of you prayer warriors out there! Please, if you have the ability to give, we would appreciate anything at all! If you cannot, please continue to pray for a miraculous whole healing that we know our God is capable of! Thank you all so very much!

As many of you know, Quentin has been fighting cancer for the third time. Unfortunately, after the transplant last fall, the cancer stuck around causing him to be diagnosed with acute lymphoblast leukemia once again. Since he has been through chemotherapy, radiation, and the transplant, it is time to try a new therapy called CAR-T cell treatment. CAR T-cell therapy is an innovative type of immunotherapy that uses a patient's own immune cells (T cells) to fight cancer, (They genetically modify them). He has been asked to go to Philadelphia at the beginning of July to start the treatment. He will most likely stay there for about five weeks. And then he will come home for six months, and then he will have to endure another stem cell transplant to finally be cancer free, God willing!

As you can imagine, the expenses are stacking up. The clinical trial doesn’t pay for lodging, food, time away from work, or other medical bills that are now stacking up due to the chronic nature of this disease. We figured this funding would help the family with these things. This is one way we (the Millers) can think to help out, to try and raise some money to help cushion the financial toll this is taking/will take on the Linnan family. Any amount helps. All funds donated will go to the Linnan family. And if you cannot donate financially, we are asking you all to please pray for him, and send good vibes his way as he fights to be cancer free! What a tough guy he is, we know God is on his side and we know he will beat this!
