Help Shruti Beat Cancer

Our friend Shruti has been close to our hearts since the moment we met her. This year has held a lot of ups and downs for her in addition to turning 31 this year, she has also been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her bones. After consulting a few  doctors , she is avidly looking for a treatment that might help ease her pain and the burden of the illness on her body. 


Shruti worked tirelessly on the frontlines during this pandemic as a travel nurse in New York, Texas, and Florida. However, since giving up her job due to complications from her illness, has lost her insurance and can no longer afford the high cost of treatment. Shruti is currently looking into alternative insurance options however without the ability to work even the premiums on something like a COBRA plan would be a heavy financial burden and have no guaranteed coverage for the out of state consult she needs for a clinical trial. 


We cannot fight this diagnosis for her but we are hoping to help ease the stress of this financial burden for someone we love.
