It’s with a heavy heart to ask for this. Over the years Edgar has suffered from diabetes and chronic kidney failure Since August of 2022 my family has gone through many medical situations with my husband Edgar. He has been a diabetic for over 19 years. Over the years it has taken a toll on his health. In August 2022 he told me he couldn’t see. Due to the diabetes it caused diabetic retinopathy which was bleeding in his eye that was blocking his vision. At that time he had to have eye surgery to gain some of his sight back. During that time period he was out on disability for 5 1/2 months. He recently went back to work but shortly after he started to not feel well. We had to rush Edgar to the emergency room. After some testing we were notified he needed to get an emergency catheter and start dialysis immediately. With continued dialysis treatments we were made aware of a $5,000 out of pocket deductible. This is not covering additional emergency room, hospital stay, and keck medical testing expenses. With all the snowballing expenses and Edgar being out of work it has created some hardship for my family. It’s hard to ask for help but at this time any help or support would be appreciated for my family to get caught up with all the bills and expenses that are coming in.
