Brandon's Service Trip

Hello, family and friends!
Brandon has the opportunity to take a service trip with his school for Spring Break to the Dominican Republic. The group will stay in a hostel and spend their days participating in service and cultural activities.
Why is this trip important? Although I can barely talk about it, this is Brandon’s SENIOR year! It’s the first time he has asked to go on a trip. He has been an active member of the service community at Lovett for all 4 years, leading to his election to the Service Board this year. He has built homes with Habitat for Humanity, fed Atlanta’s hungrywith a Lovett-sponsored charity (CAP), tutored elementary students at a nearby church (AGAPE)…the list is endless. Did I mention that he is Co-President of his chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes?
Brandon has a beautiful heart; spend 10 minutes with my son, and you can see what I mean. We want him to have this experience before he leaves for college. He wants to make the world a better place, but he hasn’t seen the world beyond his doorstep yet.
The trip costs $2000. The first deposit is due in November. He has been working to earn some of the money; however, we would like for him to keep his money to use toward spending money (or his college fund). Any donation would be appreciated, no matter the amount.
If you are not able to make a donation right now, there will be another payment due in a couple of months. :) He would love to have your prayers and well wishes. Feel free to post those, also. Brandon knows that he has come this far because he has so many awesome people in his corner.
