Michelle's funeral expenses
Donation protected
As many of you know, Michelle has been dealing with many health issues. Over the last year she has become very ill and has battled sepsis, diabetes, and liver complications. She's been such a strong individual throughout these times and has never stopped fighting. Unfortunately, her body can no longer fight such a strenuous battle and her time to rest is closer than we had hoped. With only a few days left to live, the family would like to be prepared to be able to give her the proper services that she would have wanted and most definitely deserved.
Michelle worked hard all of her life starting at a young age, by taking care of her four younger siblings. She worked for 25 years at IBM to be able to provide her family with everything and more. Whilst hardworking, Michelle knew she had to be prepared in the event of an untimely death. Michelle was against cremation and had always wanted to be buried. She had purchased plots in New York, however she had to sell them due to financial reasons.
Throughout her life, Michelle has overcome many obstacles that were thrown her way. She lost her father at a young age. Her best friend and even her own brother were both murdered. The effects that these events had on Michelle would greatly impact the rest of her life. Many people did not know that Michelle fought a hard battle with schizophrenia. The effects that her mental illness had on her and her family were detrimental. This led Michelle and her family to West Palm Beach, Florida.
Michelle was able to continue living a happy life by the side of her family for several years in Florida. They enjoyed many vacations and good times filled with laughter and lots of love. Michelle was soon diagnosed with diabetes and things started to take a turn for the worse. Her diabetes in combination with her liver disease began to take a toll on her.
Michelle was always a beautiful person and kept a smile on her face. It is unfortunate that Gods plan for Michelle involved calling her home to reunite with her mother, father, brother, grandmother and her best friend at such at a young age. These circumstances are not easy for the family and only seem harder when having to worry about the expenses of laying their loved one to rest.
Our family would greatly appreciate and be eternally grateful for any contributions you are able to make, so that Michelle can finally be at peace, the way that she would have wanted. She has fought so hard for so long and she deserves nothing more than to finally be at rest.
