Most of you know Joe and how wonderful of a human being he was. His heart was gold and his selflessness, Christlike. Prior to his hospitalization, Joe lived an extraordinary life. Although he wasn’t always physically able to do everything his body wanted him to do, he never stopped trying. If he needed to walk 100 yards, deep down inside he wanted to walk 1,000. His fortitude and courage made him an example to everyone. His will to push forward, no matter what, made him a teacher of life. If there was one simple thing that you could learn by being around him, it would be: Don’t Ever Give Up.
The loss of Joe has been devastating to his family. His passing also comes at a very difficult financial time. The family (and I) are asking for your generosity in helping with the cost of his funeral. When the unfortunate reality of his health and future became known, Joe desired to be buried next to his father. For this dream of his to become a reality, we will need some help. As I’m sure you know, ANYTHING HELPS.
