Help Save Jax: A Second Chance at Life
Jax was supposed to die the day I found him.
He sat alone in a California shelter, a senior pit bull who had already been through more than most dogs ever should. His time was up—he was scheduled for euthanasia that very day. Abandoned, overlooked, and out of time. But something about him said he wasn’t ready to give up and I couldn’t walk away. So I didn’t.
I brought Jax home to Vegas, trying to give him the second chance he never got before.
What I’ve learned since then has been heartbreaking. Jax shows clear signs of past abuse. He came to me severely malnourished, fragile, and unsure of the world around him. Despite everything he’s endured, he is still incredibly gentle—he just wants a soft place to rest, a full belly, and someone to love him.
Now, Jax is facing another fight.
He has been diagnosed with a mass that needs to be surgically removed, along with possible kidney disease or failure. The surgery is critical—not just to remove the mass, but to significantly improve his life expectancy and give him the comfort and quality of life he deserves in his senior years.
After everything he has survived—abuse, neglect, starvation, and abandonment—this surgery is his chance to truly live.
The cost of his medical care, including diagnostics, surgery, and medications, is more than I can manage alone. I’m asking for help to give Jax the life he was always meant to have.
Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward:
• Surgery to remove the mass
• Treatment and management of his kidney condition
• Medications and post-operative care
• Giving him a safe, pain-free life
Jax loves simple things—sunshine, short walks, treats, and being close to someone who cares. He doesn’t ask for much. He just wants to feel safe and loved.
Please help me give Jax the ending he deserves—not one defined by abandonment, but by compassion, healing, and love.
If you can’t donate, sharing his story means everything.
Thank you for being part of Jax’s journey.
