My parents would never ask for help, but there comes a time where everyone needs some help so I’ll ask for them.

on July 10th my mom had major spine surgery which would put her off work for 12 weeks (at least), my dad also had to take work off to stay home and take care of her. Dad was suppose to return to work on July 17th, but mom was in no shape to be left alone at home. Last night July 20th mom spiked a fever and was rushed to the emergency room where they found she was septic due to her appendix being infected. After 8 hours in the ER being treated for sepsis, she was admitted to the ICU unit of MyMichigan Health Sault. This morning she had her appendix removed and is back in the ICU being monitored closely for post-operative complications. Her body is extremely weak and it will be a long recovery for it to heal properly from this. She now has a spine surgery to finish recovering from and an abdominal surgery. My dad will be unable to go back to work anytime soon as he will be at home with her. I do not want either of them to struggle or worry about bills and money when they both need to focus on her recovery. Any little bit helps. And we all appreciate everyone’s kind words, thoughts, and prayers.
