Johnson/Zenahlik Memorial Bench

These Warrant Officers  from the Idaho Army National Guard perished in a civilian airplane accident in March, 1998, along with William Zenahlik's four children.  We want these men to be honored and remembered at Gowen Field where they served, honorably and proudly. Both men had 18 years of military service.
This bench will be placed near a large Aviation Memorial Monument that does not include these men because they were involved in a civilian aircraft accident.
Funding will pay for the bench currently being engraved and constructed for its dedication in late September. Any additional funds will be awarded to the TAPS Good Grief Camp (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors).
