Kate Thompson is a happy, positive and beautiful 29 year old Goulburn local, and Goulburn City Bulldogs Alumni, who recently discovered she has a brain tumour. Kate faces a difficult road ahead as she navigates more testing, surgery and treatment in the mission 'get Fred out of my head'.

Who is Fred? Kate wanted to find a way to talk about the tumour to people without having to call it as such, hence the birth of 'Fred'.

Kate's old Goulburn Bulldogs teammates, and the Goulburn City Bulldogs club as a whole, want to help with making sure #fredisdead and have dedicated their upcoming Ladies Day celebrations to raising funds that will support Kate throughout this journey.
