Hi friends and family of the Gotz family,

One of my best friends, Chelsea, and her family have had a hard and expensive year and a half involving many medical bills, staying in and out of hospitals and more hardships that all add up financially. Last week on vacation in Florida, Jon started experiencing symptoms for Guillain-Barré syndrome. This can be a serious, quickly brought on diagnosis but thankfully has a high recovery rate too. Jon will likely need to recover with support in Florida, meaning the family has to stay far from home until Jon is well enough to be brought home to Wisconsin.

Previously they endured multiple hospitalizations during Chelsea’s pregnancy, Charlotte was in the NICU for about a month and then there were multiple sicknesses putting Charlotte back in the hospital, a surgery for Jon and some more hospital visits for Chelsea. They’ve been through SO MUCH these past 18 months and can’t seem to catch a break. They’re always remaining optimistic and hopeful and would never ask for financial help on their own. We are seeking funds to help support Jon, Chelsea and their almost 1 year old baby Charlotte while they work through yet another serious hospitalization and recover. Please consider donating to help support them, as Chelsea will likely have to be out of work without pay to help Jon, they’ll need to cover costs to stay in Florida longer than planned for and there’s so many costs that come up for things like eating out while they stay in hotels, medical bills, childcare, loss of income, and keeping up with normal bills while they aren’t home.
