got accepted into ywam
When I graduated, I didn't know what to do. There were so many options but nothing that made sense to me. Tattooing was my next big adventure and drawing has become my daily routine. I am still not sure about it, but time will tell. About a week ago, I was at work talking with a friend, Natalie. When I asked her what her next move was, she said she was moving to Hawaii! I was shocked and questioned her, why Hawaii? And that’s when she introduced me to YWAM. Since growing up with the church, I have such a passion for helping people and I have been yearning to go on a mission. So, that’s what I’m going to do! I have applied to YWAM and just got accepted! YWAM is Youth With A Mission. I leave for Kona, Hawaii on September 30th. I will be living on base for three months. I will be attending DTS, Discipleship Training School, University of the Nations. While I am there, I will be going to school 5 days a week with work duty in the afternoons. On the weekends, I am free to do whatever I’d like. At school I will be learning how to minister and how to receive ministry. I will also be learning the bible, hearing his voice, and walking out to my own calling. When my three months are up in Kona, I will be stationed in another country. I won’t know until I get there! I will be on an active-duty mission. In my group, Trail blazers, we only have around 15-25 people. I will be going on the outreach with them, and we will be helping the community together. After those three months are up, I will be returning March 19th!
I am so excited for this opportunity! I have linked my Venmo, Cash app and my GoFundMe. Please do not feel obligated to donate. Here is a link to the organization if you would like to learn more.
