Gospel Album Recording and Production

Hi! My name is Clydene Balke. I am a retired music teacher turned solo performer/recording artist. For the past 3 years a I have been working towards learning how to record music in my home studio. I have invested in quality equipment and education/training to produce high quality recordings.

I grew up singing a capella in church from the old hymn books. You too? Cool!!! I love singing gospel. It brings out old memories of singing with my parents, family and friends. In college I was in the a capella choir at a Christian college. We traveled and performed concerts at many congregations across Texas, New Mexico, Nevada and California.

I've always wanted to record an acapella gospel album singing all the parts myself, so my first goal is to record this acapella gospel album. I will be singing 3-4 part harmony - all sung by me, myself and I. These are songs like The Old Rugged Cross, Amazing Grace, and His Eye is On the Sparrow. I already have the licenses paid for and the studio set up and ready to record! All I need is time in the studio.

As a retired teacher, I've been subbing to earn extra money to pay bills, etc. However, to get this album done this year, I need to be able to spend time in the studio instead of the classroom. That's where you come in....
