UPDATED FINANCIAL SUPPORT
We are raising ongoing financial support for LGBTQIA+ refugees from Gorom to Juba City. Thanks to the generosity of many, we’ve already been able to help people survive but the need remains urgent.
At the moment, we need to raise €3 per day, per person to ensure that everyone has access to food, clean water, and essential medical care. The updated fundraising goal reflects the following critical needs:
1. Food
2. Clean Water
3. Ongoing Medical Care (especially HIV medication)
4. Hygiene Products (sanitary pads, tampons, mouth pads, etc.)
5. Emergency Contingency Fund (to cover urgent or unexpected costs)
The situation in Gorom. is extremely precarious. Without consistent support, people’s safety and survival are at risk. With your help, we can make sure LGBTQIA+ and queer refugees have what they need to live through these difficult circumstances.
EMERGENCY UPDATE
Currently, more than 15 LGBTQIA+ and queer refugees are being forcibly expelled from Gorom Refugee Camp and urgently need financial support to relocate. Some have already moved thanks to earlier donations but many remain stranded.
Authorities at the camp have declared that LGBTQIA+ people are no longer welcome, ordering them to leave without providing alternatives. Those who remain face the threat of forced eviction. In a country still with civil conflict and violence from rebel groups, this puts lives in immediate danger.
If you are part of the community or an ally who believes in safety and dignity for all, please help us provide urgent financial support. Your donation, no matter the size can mean survival
STAND WITH US EVERY CONTRIBUTION BRINGS SAFETY
Your donation does more than provide food or water, it gives us hope. Hope that tomorrow we will not go hungry. Hope that we can find shelter and safety. Hope for a future where our identities are not treated as a death sentence.
Every contribution, no matter the size is a lifeline. With your support, we can survive today and keep believing in a tomorrow where LGBTQIA+ refugees are free to live with dignity and without fear.

they are unable to receive funds directly through Gofundme all donations will go through a separate segment of my own bank account I have access to this money but it is separate from my own income I am forwarding this money to them through a transfer service called "SendWave" and I'm willing to provide as much evidence as necessary to prove the money is really making it to them directly. I know this isn't ideal but it seems to be the only way.
