GORGEOUS OLD LABRADOR NEEDS OUR HELP TO FIND SAFETY

Hi there, Im Wendy, the owner, founder and manager of Wags N Wet Noses Dog Rescue. We are a strict not for profit rescue. We are an unincorporated Assocation of people who all give of their time to help rescue abandoned dogs from the streets, and to find them happy loving homes in the Uk. We have a new urgent case that needs your help for us to help her.

We have been told of a beautiful dog, roaming the streets, a gorgeous cream labrador, female, around 9 to 10 years old. This poor old soul has been seen several times in town, by lots of different people, in a very hungry state, desperate for food, so so cold in the snow, shivering and crying and begging for food, and trying to find shelter. A member of the public told us she has been abandoned about three weeks ago. This gentle old girl, so placid, so trusting, so unstreet savvy, is clearly not used to being on the streets. And she will surely die if we cannot help her. We have been told by members of the public who have been feeding her bread that she somehow struggles to eat. She has lots of growths/tumour type lumps around her mouth. Its almost like she is starving hungry and wants to eat but can't for some reason. We are sending a team of 3 to the place she has been spotted at regularly for the last three weeks , near a supermarket, taking shelter under the chain of trolleys, just trying to get out of the snow, and we are hoping they can find her and get her safe into our rescue. She is our emergenc case right now. This poor old soul, will definitely die, without a doubt if we dont find her, and get her checked with a vet to see whats happening with the tumours on her mouth. We think theres a second labrador with her, but the other seems to come and go. We're not sure if the other is also abandoned as this poor old loyal dog is, or if the other goes home and comes back sometimes to keep her company from time to time. We just dont know. So the mission is to save this one girl, but if theres two, then we will take both dogs into rescue. We will need funding for the drivers to go search for her in the area shes been seen in, and for boarding, and food, and vaccines, and testing, and then for a thorough check up and scan at the vets to find out whats wrong with her mouth and why she cant eat. She may need surgery to remove the tumours, so we dont know how much were looking at raising but we will need reserves to cover her veterinary bills once she goes in for checks. She so desperately seems like she wants to eat but cant. When people have given her food she has vomited it back up as if theres some problem with her health. We must, must, must get her safe and into our care to check her out and find out what the problem is or she will surely die. Out there, alone in the cold, nobody to love or care for her, cruelly abandoned by somebody, so we must must find her. Please can you help us. We need donations to cover all, so please help us if you can. The finding her bit is the easy bit, the paying for her care and investigations is a whole other ball game.
