Gorge Cafe Dorchester desroyed by fire

Hi.

My name is Michelle and I am the Manager at Dorchester Curiosity Centre on Grove Trading Estate.

We were deeply saddened to wake to the news this morning (9th December) the The Gorge Cafe in Dorchester's South Street had been destroyed by fire.

The Gorge is a local independent business that has served the community and visitors for many years.

The staff and owners have informed me that they do not wish to receive any of the funds donated and instead would like the money raised to go to the Dorchester Food Bank to help those less fortunate than themselves at Christmas which can be a particularly difficult time for so many.
