Our brother has been battling a rare cancer called P.O.E.M.S. His fight has now approached the it's final round and has elected to do death with dignity. Since his dianosis our mother has been his rock in shifting sand through all the loss that this disease has brought him. She has managed to keep him, and herself strong longer than doctors had anticipated. With the recent turn of events she has not left his side at the hospital and is not working. This has been such a difficult transition even though the outcome of terminally ill was always on the horizon. Loss is never easy and his very big personality and laugh will be missed tremendously.
He is currently in the hospital and we are working hard to prepare his home, so he can come home for his last day. He would like to be surrounded by friends and family before he takes his medication and passes peacefully. Then he has choosen to be cremated and spread where his father ashes are in Mexico and in the Ocean.
We understand if you can't support right now with donation, sharing this link, stopping by OHSU, a home cooked meal, prayer or positive thoughts are all appreciated. We want to thank all those that have already shown up to support and love on him.
With our deepest gratitude,
