Gorsebrook Junior High Presents MATILDA JR.
Donation protected
Gorsebrook Junior High is thrilled to be presenting Matilda Jr. on February 27 & 28, 2023!
As you can imagine, due to the pandemic, our students have faced challenging times and have not been permitted to participate in enriching education programs and school experiences. Happily, those opportunities are beginning to come back this year, but the budget cushion that has been available in previous years is no longer there due to the inability to fundraise until now.
Having a regular creative outlet is not just part of a well-rounded education – it is essential for a child’s emotional health and well-being. Producing a show brings the arts together and provides growth opportunities for all varieties of learners. Besides being incredibly fun, musical theatre helps young people develop many of the skills necessary for success in today’s world: self-confidence, literacy, communication, imagination, critical thinking and problem solving, empathy, community awareness, public speaking and teamwork.
We are asking local businesses, family members and friends to partner with us to produce Matilda Jr. so that we can bring this important experience to our students - and share this beautiful show with our community!
Should you choose to support our fundraiser, you will be acknowledged in print in our Matilda Jr. programs.
For sponsorship and signage opportunities, or to purchase ad space in the programs, please feel free to reach out directly.
