The goal of this Mechanical Engineering Capstone project is to design, build, and test a replicable model of calcified lesions using non-biologic materials. This model will allow us to simulate real-world conditions, enabling the development and deployment of next-generation peripheral vascular interventional devices. These devices are beneficial in treating patients with severe arterial blockages, restoring blood flow, and improving quality of life.
