Gordon Nixon loved music, playing football, building homes, and telling stories, but his greatest love was family. Son, brother, granddad, but most of all a father, he was taken from us suddenly on December 8, 2020, leaving behind eight children, three of them under eighteen. His last words after the car accident that took his life were to ask if the passenger riding with him was all right, and now his children need that same care and help from us that Gordon was always so quick to give to those around him.
No amount of money can ever replace a beloved father, but it can ease the burden of funeral expenses and other costs of rebuilding his children’s lives and keeping them safe and cared for during this tragic time. This year will not be a holiday of toys and games for them, but of making sure they remain a family in the most trying of times. Please help with whatever donation you can manage.
Your gifts to them will be used for relocating and settling the kids to their new homes, getting them ready for the upcoming school year, and funeral costs.
