Taki’s family and loved ones in Jamaica have experienced tremendous loss as Hurricane Melissa devastated their homes and community.

While we were able to briefly speak with his mother on Tuesday (October 28th) to confirm her safety, we have not been able to reach other family members. Communication has since been lost due to widespread power and cell service outages across the island.  

We are currently raising funds to support their recovery to help them rebuild their community and meet immediate needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. This effort goes beyond restoring physical structures; it’s about renewing hope, reconnecting loved ones, and rebuilding resilience. Donations of adult and children’s clothing are also deeply appreciated. We’re happy to arrange pick-up for any items you’re able to contribute.
