Hello, my name is Gordon, I'm 24 and I'm from Scotland! I've been accepted onto a discipleship & leadership course run by Soul Edge Canada! Between now and my start date (March 2025) I need to raise enough money to be able to get to Canada (flights), Pay for the course (Soul Edge) and buy the kit that will keep me warm when living in snow caves on Vancouver island (chilly)!

Soul Edge is a Christian organisation that run difference courses to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus as well as grow as a person and learn to be open and create real, strong connections with eachother, all while adventuring in some of the most spectacular areas of God's creation! Over the 3 months I will study the Word personally, with the team, have 1-1 mentoring sessions with the leaders and enjoy worshipping together! Along side all of the spiritual opportunities we will also be adventuring around Vancouver Island by skiing, hiking, mountain biking, snow holing and so many more awesome things all out in God's creation.

To fundraise I'm going to be completing a challenge that I'm calling "36 Hours, 3 Peaks". This challenge consists of me climbing Abernethy Barcaple's indoor climbing wall (9M) 729 times in 36hours, which is the equivalent of climbing Vancouver Islands top 3 peaks. The reason I've set this challenge is to bring Vancouver Island a little closer to home before I head out in March!

Our set date for the challenge is Friday the 3rd of January 2025 through till the Saturday. 8am Fri to 8pm Sat.

This is going to be the hardest physical challenge I've ever done and training has already started!

I truly believe this course has the potential to be life changing and I'd absolutely love if you could support in this by helping me fund the trip!

The list of kit is long and unfortunately outdoor kit is expensive.
