On Wednesday, July 29th, only 15 days after his third birthday, a tragic accident took the life of Gordie Scott Statham. Son, brother, grandson, and nephew, he will be forever remembered and eternally missed by all who knew him.
Survived by his parents, Gordie and Berkeley, as well as his older sister Sharla, little Gordie (known affectionately as Buggy) was the happiest and most loving little boy that anyone could know. Forever smiling and laughing, he was constantly on the go, bringing joy to everyone who knew him.
Whether it was dinosaurs, animals, superheroes, music, or the great outdoors, to Gordie the world was always a great wonder and filled with excitement, the joy of life reflecting itself in his eyes. He could make a microphone out of anything, find hidden worlds amidst the leaves on the ground, and loved nothing more than working out with Da.
His presence made this world a better place, and it will be forever emptier and lonelier without him in it.
In these incredible times of trial and sadness, money is that last thing any grieving parent and heartbroken family should worry about. This campaign is to help relieve some of the burden this tragedy has forced his family to ensure. All funds donated to this campaign will go towards funeral and memorial expenses, as well as help the family with counseling in trying to heal from this unimaginable pain.
