Goran Konatar and his family lived in New Jersey for many years when he received the news that he would need a kidney transplant. His brother, Ivan, selflessly and graciously saved his brothers life almost two decades ago and donated one kidney to Goran. Since then, the Konatars moved to Austin, Texas. Unfortunately, in 2022 Goran again got the terrible news that his kidney was failing and he would need a transplant. Miraculously, his sister Gordana turned out to be a 100% match. Goran was set to have his life saving surgery in November of this year, Gordana came to the United States from Montenegro last month and all three of Dragisa Konatars children were prepared to live with one kidney out of love for their family. Two weeks ago, Goran received news worse than he could have imagined. His daughter, Milica, passed away. Milica was a college student in Austin, Texas majoring in business. Goran is the provider for his family, with this tragedy and his upcoming transplant the family will appreciate any assistance to get them through these hard times.
