Goosie’s Gift of Heart Surgery

Hi!

My name is Goose (aka Goosie). I’m an 11 month old, friendly, loving, playful Frenchie. I was born with severe pulmonic stenosis, which is a super fancy way of saying I was born with a bad heart. Without surgery, the average lifespan for other puppies with the same defect as mine is only 3 years. I already get extra tired if I play too hard, and as I grow, my heart will have to work harder and harder to do normal things - eventually it won’t be strong enough to keep me alive. But with heart surgery, my life could be drastically changed, and I could have an amazingly normal and exciting long life!

My mom has been working with Colorado State University Veterinary Hospital and they can do the surgery at Christmas time – this surgery would give me the most amazing gift of a longer life! My surgical workup, angiography scans, stent implant, hospital stay, post-op care and follow up visits cost will be close to $11,000! SO very expensive!

My mom and her friends are raising funds to help make the surgery happen! If you are able to support my cause with any sort of donation or are willing to share my story with your friends and family, I would be forever grateful!
