Goose is absolutely a "give it yer all" type of girl, including getting herself injured. Being the over achiever that she is, she was able to partially tear her back right acl stumbling backwards out of the car, and then a day before her surgery rupture her back left acl slipping on the vinyl flooring in our bedroom.

The outcome of all of this is a double surgery on both her back knees, and a lot of rehab to get her back in tip top shape for forest walks during mushroom picking season.

Our special, overly-loving crazy Gooser will be in good hands this summer with Joe, working towards a hopeful 95-98% recovery.

We are not looking to fund this entire process through generosity from loved ones, we do have a small amount of pet insurance for her to help pay for the current and future expenses to get her back smelling smells and swimming the swims. But as anyone with a pet knows, as prepared as you think you are for these situations, bills add up quickly, and sometimes you are left to lean on your community to help heal your best pal.
