Hi everyone,

We are reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for our sweet boy Goose. Last Friday, he experienced a sudden heart-related episode that left him struggling to breathe and in need of urgent veterinary care. Since then, he has undergone testing to better understand what is happening with his heart. 

Goose has already had an echocardiogram, and we are now waiting for answers to see if his condition is due to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a progressive heart disease, or transient myocardial thickening (TMT), which sometimes improves with time. The waiting and uncertainty have been very hard, but we are holding onto hope. 

Despite his illness, Goose is still full of love and with the right care and medication, he can continue to enjoy his days comfortably by our side. Unfortunately, the cost of vet visits, ongoing medications, and possible emergency care is overwhelming. We want to give Goose the best quality of life possible for as long as we can. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards his medical care.
