Or Washington to be more precise.

Over the last decade or so I’ve been infatuated with the idea of moving to the Pacific Northwest. I’d often look at pictures of its landscapes idealizing it as a place to get a fresh start, get healthier, make new friends and get back to nature.

At first it seemed like a pipe dream, something I could only do if I hit the lottery or this or that windfall came in. Upon sharing this dream with my cousin Tara, she said ‘You don’t have to hit the lottery stupid, you just need to have a plan.’ So I began making one and as time went on getting there seemed more feasible- but was still going to take time and a lot of hard work.

Then a few weeks back I lost my younger brother- something that no one at my age should have to experience. Then I had to ask myself- how much time do I have left? Maybe I need to plan for today, but circumstances over the last several years haven’t left me with a lot of scratch to work with.

The time to follow dreams and make changes is now. I have worked hard all my life for everything I have, but right now I need the support of my loved ones to help me make this change.  So I could use your help- help to fund the trip, get my car maintenance done, purchase some new clothes, and generally just buy me time to find work clear on the other side of the country. Help to make a fresh start.

Every little bit will help and will be greatly appreciated.
