full aware that this is one of the worst times in recent history to ask for money, but I'm consoling my guilt with the the fact that over the last however many years I've been lucky enough to give away 10's of thousands of [redacted] through [statute of limitations pending] and maybe some of the people I've fed, or appreciated it are in a position to chuck me five bucks.

Brucey was so tough about what was going on, by the time he stopped eating properly we couldn't get into our normal vet on short notice and had to go through emergency$$, where an ultrasound showed he was chock-full of cancer through his abdomen. They first suggested it would be kindest to put him down then and there, but after a night on fluids and anti-nausea meds he was eating again and they said it was ok to take it day by day but his internal tumours could rupture at any time. grabbed whatever medicine we could to minimise risk. rolled the dice and we got to spend the nicest week together eating large, sleeping in large, and going for short walks up the street to stare at cats we hate - large. he got visits from dozens of friends, some new, some he hadn't seen in many years, then we said goodbye with a vet at home on the couch. he went so peacefully, the vet was just about in tears with us as he gave one last little yawn before trotting off into The Dreaming.

unfortch this came at a time when I was trying to switch careers and doing support work, at the same time meant to be finding another housemate and more stable work, have had to chuck all the costs on credit card which kinda cuts off my ability to keep working to support community, so here's me i guess giving you the opportunity to shorten the time to to get me back to doing that, or for any other reason you want to chip in
