Tre’s Help Fund

Hi. We are Katie and RaShad May. We are good friends of Ora and Mike and consider them family. We started this gofundme page because Our son Tate is Tre’s best friend. We know that we can’t even begin to imagine what Mike and Ora are going through and felt like this is the least that we could do. They are going to need all the help they can get on this uphill battle. 

On July 4th, 2020, 4 year old Michael Goodlow III “Tre”, wanted to spend time with family. Ora Spivey and Michael Goodlow II, the wonderful parents they are, wanted to make their amazing son happy. So as any parents would, they took him. Shortly after they arrived at their destination near Page and Pendleton, Tre’s wish came true. He was able to enjoy his beautiful sparkler with lots of family cheers while displaying the same amazing, loving, smile and laughter. A few moments later, around 10:45pm, as fireworks were going off all around the neighborhood, Tre was struck in the back of the head and fell limp. St. Louis Police Department has determined that this was a stray bullet and currently have no suspects. Tre has continued to fight for his life since he arrived to the hospital. The family has recently welcomed their new daughter into the world and will have long lasting medical bills.  They will need financial, as well as emotional support from wherever and whoever possible to get through this tragedy.
