Dear family, friends and affective community:
It is with a heavy heart that we, the del Valle Piñero family inform the physical departure of our beloved Alfredo del Valle. Our warrior father battled for 33 years against complicated health conditions. He taught us how to persevere, how to be bold and how to fight with dignity and tenacity. We did everything we could to save his life, including taking him out of Puerto Rico so he could be properly treated. We were with him until his last breath. The prolonged stay in the United States for medical treatment brought expenses that were beyond our reach. In addition, the funeral details and the transfer of the remains to Puerto Rico entail even more expenses. We wish to return this loving patriot back to his cherished homeland as he wished. Help us achieve his desires.

Querida familia, amigos y comunidad afectiva:
Es con gran pesar que la familia del Valle Piñero informa la partida física de nuestro querido Alfredo del Valle. Nuestro padre ''El guerrero'' luchó durante 33 años contra condiciones de salud complicadas. Alfredo nos enseñó a perseverar, a ser audaces y a luchar con dignidad y tenacidad en esta vida. Hicimos todo lo que pudimos para salvar su vida, incluso sacarlo de Puerto Rico para que fuera tratado adecuadamente. Estuvimos con él hasta su último suspiro. La prolongada estancia en los Estados Unidos para recibir tratamiento médico trajo consigo gastos que estaban fuera de nuestro alcance. Además, los detalles fúnebres y el traslado de los restos a Puerto Rico conllevan aún más gastos. Deseamos llevar a éste amado patriota de vuelta a su querida tierra, así como él lo deseaba.
